A multidisciplinary team of researchers from the Centre of New Technologies of the University of Warsaw, the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw and collaborators from Slovenia, Belgium and the US set out to study the structural and magnetic properties of fluorides of divalent silver.

The collaboration between the nine researchers working on the project resulted in the determination of the fluorine atoms’ positions and helped to explain the magnetic properties of hese unique materials.

More information about whole project conducted by Grochala's group is available here.

The results of the research will be published in the November issue of Dalton Transactions and in the forthcoming issue of Inorganic Chemistry.
