Student in the Laboratory of Human Cancer Genetics


Laboratory of Human Cancer Genetics seeks highly motivated student to join the project „Novel approach to a large-scale population screening for genetic diseases – a proof-of- concept”. The aim of the project is to use next-generation sequencing for elaboration of an innovative method allowing for large-scale genetic screening. Using the most innovative methods of molecular and genetic analysis, including next-generation sequencing, we seek for mutations that predispose to carcinogenesis. The successful student will be helping with retrieving the study material – blood, DNA and with social communication about genetic testing.

Student scholarship: 1500 PLN/month

The candidates should:
 - be the student of the 1 st or 2 nd degree, or of equivalent studies
- the following skills will be most welcome: laboratory experience, experience with the social media
