PhD student position to work on molecular dynamics simulations of viral proteases

at the Centre of New Technologies University of Warsaw has an opening for a PhD student position
to work on molecular dynamics simulations of viral proteases

The opening is in the OPUS project funded by the Polish National Science Centre "The effect of crowded
environment on the catalytic activity and dynamics of viral proteases"

We are looking for motivated candidates:
• with background in (bio)physics, (bio)chemistry, mathematics or related discipline,
• the candidates must already be in or willing to enter an official PhD programme at the time their
project is started (the earliest starting date is October 1st 2017),
• experience in simulation techniques and linux/unix systems will be beneficial as well as basic
knowledge of microcalorimetry and fluorescence spectroscopy.

We offer:
• net monthly fellowship 3000 PLN (not subject to income tax) awarded from the National Science
Centre in the OPUS project for up to three years,
• work in a group whose research bridges the fields of physics, chemistry and biological sciences.
